# BigQueryPartitioningInfo

How an existing table is partitioned.

An existing table keeps its own partitioning regardless of what a
destination payload asks for, so this is what a destination will actually
write into.

Type: object

Fields typed as another model are documented on that model's page; fetch it before filling the field.

| Field | Type | Required | Description | Allowed values / default / constraints |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `field` | string, nullable | no | Partition column; null for ingestion-time partitioning | |
| `type` | string, nullable | no | The column's BigQuery type | |
| `granularity` | string, nullable | no | HOUR, DAY, MONTH or YEAR | |
| `is_ingestion_time` | boolean | no | True when partitioned by ingestion time | default: `false` |
